FIRST AID – TRAUMA

The training is addressed to people who have already had something to do with first aid trainings and now would like to broaden their knowledge and improve skills in this matter as well as to HSE (Health Safety and Environment) workers and coordinators in companies.

The training is performed by experienced paramedics and first aid instructors from our team. We do care about the high quality of our training, the professional approach towards each trainee as well as we particularly focus on its practical part to make it as similar as possible to the real conditions.

The training is particularly valued by construction companies, production plants and institutions where there is a health risk while performing work  at heights.

At the end of the training each participant receives a certificate confirming the completion of a first aid course  in medical emergencies, performed on the basis of the latest regulations of ERC (European Resuscitation Council) and regulations by ITLS (International Trauma Life Support).

During the course we use the latest equipment and high confidence medical simulators by means of which we increase the realism of the performed rescue procedures and at the same time provide the possibility of assessing the quality of resuscitation activities perfromed by each trainee with the use of monitoring appliances.

The programme of the training:

1. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
2. SAMPLE interview
3. Treating mechanical injuries (twisting and dislocations)
4. Due procedures for compound and closed fractures.
5. Medical standards for dealing with frostbites and burns.
6. Medical standards for anaphylactic shock treatment
7. Medical standards for head trauma.
8. Trauma examination of a patient
9. Stabilization of the cervical spine
10. Procedures for massive haemorrhages
11. Medical standards for dealing with incised wounds, stab wounds and lacerations
12. Necessary medical equipment in a workplace

Additionally, during each training session we address specific issues such as:

1. First aid – legal aspects
2. Personal safety and the safety of the casualty
3. Rescue patterns and procedures
4. A successful calling for emergency services by means of emergency call
5. The basic equipment of the first aid kit.
6. The psychology of first aid
