FIRST AID – MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

The training is addressed to people who have already had something to do with first aid trainings and now would like to broaden their knowledge and improve skills in this matter as well as to HSE (Health Safety and Environment) workers and coordinators in companies.

The training is performed by experienced paramedics and first aid instructors from our team. We do care about the high quality of our training, the professional approach towards each trainee as well as we particularly focus on its practical part to make it as similar as possible to the real conditions.

At the end of the training each participant receives a certificate confirming the completion of a first aid course  in medical emergencies, performed on the basis of the latest regulations of ERC (European Resuscitation Council) and regulations by ITLS (International Trauma Life Support).

During the course we use the latest equipment and high confidence medical simulators by means of which we increase the realism of the performed rescue procedures and at the same time provide the possibility of assessing the quality of resuscitation activities perfromed by each trainee with the use of monitoring appliances.

The programme of the training:

1. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
2. SAMPLE interview
3. Procedures in case of a heart attack (myocardial infarction)
4. Identification of cerebral infarction ( a stroke)in a patient and due procedures
5. Hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia
6. Anaphylactic shock – procedures
7. Differentiating between a syncope (fainting) and a loss of consciousness and due procedures
8. Epilepsy – procedures
9. Heat stroke and sun stroke – procedures
10. Hypothermia – identification and procedure
11. Necessary medical equipment in a workplace

Additionally, during each training session we address specific issues such as:

1. First aid – legal aspects
2. Personal safety and the safety of the patient
3. Rescue patterns and procedures
4. A successful calling for emergency services by means of emergency call
5. The basic equipment of the first aid kit.
6. The psychology of first aid
